Post a new question

Search the Community

Before posting a new question, search the Community! There is a good chance that someone has already asked a forum question on your topic. Type your question, keyword, or topic in the search box in the upper-right of the page.

How to post a new question

  1. Select the Post a question button on the upper-right corner of the page. This opens the Post your question to a forum form.
  2. Enter a subject in the Subject field.
  3. Write your question in the Description field. Use the tools at the top of the field to add bullets, formatting, or links to your post if desired.
  4. Select one or more Categories from the Categories dropdown menu. You can go back into that field to add more categories as desired.
  5. [Optional] Browse for any attachments you may want to include (e.g., screen shots).
  6. Select Post.
Note: All attachments are reviewed by the User Community team before posting and are not immediately visible.

Posting guidelines

Do's

  • Write a concise but specific summary of your issue as the Subject. For example: "Custom templates for Urology" or "How to customize my preferred style." A subject line that says only "I need help" will not catch the attention of someone who may be familiar with your situation.
  • Keep your subject less than 10 words. This allows for Community members to quickly skim through the forum to find answers or offer assistance.
  • Provide enough detail in the Description. Getting a resolution to your issue relies heavily on detailing what you need assistance with. It takes a little more time when you first post – but when you clearly describe what you need and what you've already tried, and include relevant screenshots, other members can understand your issue quickly and provide a useful answer without a lot of back and forth in the replies.
  • Select the correct category filters. For example, if you are looking for recommendations on customizable templates in DAX Copilot, select the 'Customizable Templates & AI Capabilities' category. If you have a suggestion for a new feature or function, select 'Enhancement requests.'
  • Read your post before you publish. Make sure you address any typos, missing or incomplete information, or other issues which would prevent another member from accurately reading your post.

Don'ts

When posting in the forums make sure to follow our Community Code of Conduct.
  • Don't post content or images that include PHI.
  • Don't advertise services, products, or fee-based events, jobs offered, services offered, or jobs wanted.
  • Avoid posting unrelated or new topics in an existing thread, even one you previously created. Please start a new thread for each new topic.
  • Avoid typing in ALL CAPS, as this is often perceived as "shouting" and can appear rude.
  • Avoid words/phrases like: "Please Help," "Urgent," or "I have a problem." Everyone posting a new question/topic is seeking some form of assistance. Instead, focus on the content of your post.
  • Don't post your email address or ask others to post their email in the forums.
  • Don't engage users who are trolling or abusive. Instead report it to the Community Team.
